– The Great Masters – Rotating Sculpture.

The work is a tribute to the interdependence between art and scientific knowledge, to their millennial relationship, to their intertwining and their mutual influence. On one facade, portraits of the great geniuses of humanity; the great poet Dante Alighieri), the great composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, the divine sculptor Michelangelo Buonarroti and the scientist par excellence Albert Einstein. On the other facade, the famous self-portrait of Leonardo da Vinci, the greatest genius of all time.
The pedestal, connected to the panel by a metal rod that allows it to rotate from one facade to another, portrays the Vitruvian Man, a famous representation of the ideal proportions of the human body in geometric form. The Artist’s choice not to paint the portraits highlights the technical level achieved and the refinement of the carving.
